4 Reasons to Consider Green Cabinets

Choosing a cabinet color in your new home or remodel can feel stressful. Oftentimes, when we are faced with a color choice, we get too overwhelmed with all the options and settle on something safe. Neutrals can be extremely beautiful, but today I am sharing the benefits of stepping outside your comfort zone and choosing something a little more unconventional. Check out these gorgeous green kitchens and see why green is a lovely choice!

Green is versatile. Unlike some colors, green has the ability to lean warm or cool depending on the shade. It can have blue or yellow undertones and different shades can drastically change the feeling of a space. Something I started to familiarize myself with when I was a photographer was color theory. Learning about the impact of colors and how they work together in a space is an essential part of interior design.

It’s unique. A lot of people today tend to choose neutral colors in their homes and green cabinets are a unique way to make a statement. Black, white, or gray cabinets aren’t a bad choice, but there is a good chance you could walk into your neighbors home and see the exact same thing. It’s fun to be different and green is a great choice to achieve an original look.

Green gives you all the good vibes. It’s true, green is recognized as the most restful and relaxing color for the human eye to view. It can even help reduce anxiety, depression, and nervousness. If you have to clean dishes, might as well have a soothing environment to do it in, right?

The finish options are endless. There are an overwhelming amount of options when choosing countertops, hardware, light fixtures, and tile, and green cabinets can be complimented in so many different ways. Black counters with gold accents or white counters with silver, green is an easy color to mix and match with many appealing combinations.

No matter what you choose, if you need help creating a space that is both beautiful and functional, we can help. Reach out and let’s talk about your project!
